Manufacturers still produce motorhomes and caravans with French-beds. The bed is positioned down one side of the sleeping area against a side wall and has a cutaway section to allow easier movement around the bed.

So, we had our first night with the Bed Extender…..GAME CHANGER!! WOW! We have just woken up at 9.30am…..to put it into perspective, without it I was always up at 6am or there abouts because my space was taken up by my husband. I got an extra 3 hours uninterrupted sleep! Easy to Install - No Tools Required
The light-weight extender plate simply slides between the mattress and the bed support frame. Easy to use, you slide the extender out and place the mattress in-fill section on the extender. The handle forms a retaining lip to hold the in-fill in place. Whilst the holes provide for ventilation for the storage locker below, which can be easily accessed as before.

Extender Plate
The patented extender is made from a light-weight durable material which fits neatly under the mattress whilst still ensuring access to the storage locker below if required. The extender plate is universal and fits beds with the cut-off on the left OR right.

Mattress In-fill
The mattress in-fill is custom made to your bed size and shape. The in-fill is made from flame-retardent foam, covered in a flame retardent fabric. When in-place the extender frame supports the in-fill to provide a full-size bed. Normal fitted sheets will fit your bed perfectly. Additionally the foam in-fill makes a perfect arm rest during times when the bed extender is not required.
